Do I need any previous dance experience?
No! You just need to enjoy music and moving. There are no wrong moves in Zumba! The important thing is to move at your own pace - listen to your body. It's all about having fun!

What kind of intensity should I expect?
ZUMBA® features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA®! Be prepared to sweat, learn moves and have fun!

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable work out clothing. Please wear workout shoes (sneakers) or dance sneakers on the studio floor.

What kind of shoes should I wear? Sneakers (remember this is a fitness class!) with a low "tread" on the bottom. Nike makes a dance-aerobic shoe called "musique", Ryka has a line of "studio shoes" that are all great, Puma and Asics make a low tread shoe as well. Check Zappos.com (free shipping both ways), locally check TJMaxx & Marshalls which frequently have Puma & sometimes Rykas on their racks!!!!

What should I bring?
A small towel and WATER! There are pauses between the songs and this is a time to hydrate.

Do I need a partner?
No - this is a solo workout with friends!
